PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of deterioration in the S/N ratio of output signals, which occurs when a noise generated in a control generator of a solid-state imaging apparatus is transmitted to an optical signal processing circuit through a substrate. SOLUTION: A vertical/horizontal control generator 145 forms a portion of a circuit that generates a control signal for controlling multiple pixels in a pixel-filled region with global shutter operation. An optical signal processing circuit 146 forms a portion of a signal readout circuit that processes signals output by the pixels. N-type well regions 136 and 137 are formed in the vertical/horizontal control generator 145 of a p-type semiconductor substrate 131, and a p-type well region 138 is formed in the well region 137. N-type well regions 139 and 140 are formed in the optical signal processing circuit 146, and a p-type well region 141 is formed in the well region 140. This structure prevents a noise generated in the vertical/horizontal control generator 145 from being transmitted to the optical signal processing circuit 146. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
