<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device of an opening/closing body for a vehicle determining that an opening/closing mechanism is abnormal when an integration value of load in a drive source exceeds a predetermined threshold value. <P>SOLUTION: In a motor load detection part 28, when the integration value of load in the electric motor 17 exceeds a threshold value, an abnormality determination part 30 determines that a gas stay is abnormal. Thereby, abnormality of the gas stay can be detected without detecting descending of a back door, and large load can be previously prevented from being given to a hinge and the electric motor 17 by dead weight of the back door and inertia force in descending. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
