<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy both an intuitive input method by a touch panel and high quality image display. <P>SOLUTION: This image observation device is equipped with; an image display device; a stationary or movable touch panel capable of outputting positional coordinate information for covering a part of a display area of the image display device; a guide information display means for displaying input guide information on the display area; a detection means for detecting positional coordinate information where the displayed guide information is touched; and an output information display means for displaying output information corresponding to the detected positional coordinate information on the image display device. By touching the touch panel, input information is input and selected based on an input information screen displayed on an image display means below a touch panel. When a plurality of adjacently arranged image display devices are considered as a single image display device, display areas which are a part of the display devices and the display areas of one or more image display devices are covered by the touch panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
