<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a dynamic range in coil driving. <P>SOLUTION: Switches 102a, 115a only are closed, a first half positive half wave signal S1 of a drive signal is given to a terminal 101, and a latter half positive half wave signal S2 of the drive signal is given to a terminal 117, then a drive circuit 103a and a drive circuit 116a are alternately switched and driven, a position detection signal is transmitted from a first region 108 to a position indicator at the first half of the drive signal, and the position detection signal is transmitted from a second region 111 to the position indicator at the latter half of the drive signal, resulting in that the driving is similar to driving a whole coil 105.
