PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated core of a rotating electric machine excellent in strength to a circumferential input without complicating a production process. SOLUTION: In the laminated core 10 of the rotating electric machine, the leading end 12 of a thin electromagnetic steel plate 11 externally abuts on a processing spindle S, the electromagnetic steel plates 11 overlap each other at the leading end 12 after the electromagnetic steel plate 11 goes round the spindle S from the leading end 12 as a starting point while the electromagnetic steel plate 11 externally abuts on the spindle S, a trailing end 13 is positioned on an outer surface and the electromagnetic steel plate 11 is cylindrically laminated, the electromagnetic steel plate 11 has a floating section 14 from a position in which the electromagnetic steel plate 11 is removed from the spindle S to an overlapping part with the leading end 12, and the floating section 14 passes through a position P1 in which the electromagnetic steel plate 11 is removed from the spindle S, and parallel to a tangent line L of the spindle S.
