PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a schedule management apparatus and the like including a function capable of updating presence information usually even without setting the details of an event by means of a schedule function. SOLUTION: A schedule management apparatus comprises a schedule management section for managing at least one event and a basic schedule that can be set double on the same date and time as the event, and a presence information change section for changing presence information in accordance with the event and the basic schedule managed by the schedule management section. The presence information change section changes presence information in accordance with the basic schedule and if both the event and the basic schedule are set double on the same date/time, presence information is changed preferentially for any one of the event and the basic schedule.
