PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keratinocyte contraction-promoting agent having excellent safety, and to provide a pore-contracting agent having excellent safety. SOLUTION: The keratinocyte contraction-promoting agent or the pore-contracting agent comprises one or more plants selected from the group consisting of Smilax glabra Roxburgh, Plantago asiatica L., Sinomenium acutum Rehder et Wilson, Saposhnikovia divaricata Schischkin, Ephedra sinica Stapf, Marsdenia cundurango Reichenbach fil., Citrus paradisi Macf., Poria cocos Wolf, Vitis viniferaL., Rosmarinus.officinalis, Anthemis nobilis L., and Juniperus communis, or their extracts, the extract of the cockscomb of Gallus domestius Brisson, and/or trehalose.
