PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head stack assembly (HSA) equipped with a turbulent flow preventive structure for a head gimbal assembly capable of protecting a magnetic head slider mounted on the head gimbal assembly against a turbulent flow causing vibration and excitation. SOLUTION: The head stack assembly includes a voice coil, an E block coupled to the voice coil and having at least one actuator arm, at least one head gimbal assembly equipped with a suspension which has a flexure coupled to respective tip parts of actuator arms and mounted with the magnetic head slider, and at least one support block which has a support part supporting a tail end of the flexure in order to reduce displacement of the flexure and is formed at each of the actuator arms.
