PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording disk cartridge which contributes for facilitating set operation of a metal plate (for hubs) to an injection mold, and a manufacturing method of a hub. SOLUTION: A recording disk cartridge 1 has a hub 32 which is formed by integrally combining a metal plate 322 and resin by performing injection molding in a state holding a metallic plate 322 in the injection mold M. The metal plate 322 has; a center section reduced diameter opening 322a formed in a shape to be caught in the axis direction of solidified resin and the hub 32 even if tensile force is applied from which side of a surface side or a back surface side; and a set of a first retaining opening 322b and a second retaining opening 322c.
