PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data warehouse system for enabling a user to easily check the meaning of a segment data value, and for improving convenience and task efficiency by solving the problem that an operation to check the meaning of the segment data value is complicate while browsing the task data of a database in a conventional data warehouse system. SOLUTION: This data warehouse system is provided with: a data dictionary management table 5 having a table list 51 for storing table names in a database 4, a data item list 52 for storing data item names in each table, and a data value list 53 for storing the segment data value in each data item and the meaning by associating them with each other; and a Web server 7 for retrieving the data dictionary management table 5 by using the table name or the data item name as a retrieval key in response to a request from a user terminal 8, and for displaying the segment data value corresponding to the retrieval key and the meaning from the data value list 53.
