PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a photographic printer for properly inputting parameters corresponding to a print size when a print channel is generated. SOLUTION: When numerals of setting lengths of printing paper corresponding to the print size are input to input areas 64C, 64P, and 64H in a print channel setting screen 60 displayed on a monitor, numerals corresponding to setting lengths are preset based upon a print size corresponding to the numeral of width of printing paper stored in a printing paper magazine, a numeral which is already set in the input area 64C, 64P, or 64H where a cursor is positioned is displayed, and further the numeral is displayed in a message area 65.
