PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid crystal display device 1 having a changeable viewing angle without complicating the configuration of a liquid crystal panel, increasing the thickness and power consumption of the panel, and adding many hardware resources. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 1 is provided with: a liquid crystal panel 2 for gradation display; a viewing angle information input part 9 for receiving the information of a requested viewing angle; and a viewing angle changing means 7 for changing a viewing angle of a display image by changing a color of a part of the display image displayed on the liquid crystal panel 2 in accordance with the requested viewing angle inputted to the viewing angle information input part 9.
