PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a fall-off preventing plate for preventing a disengagement of a beam member relative to a rack post from a sheet. SOLUTION: In a connecting structure, a hooking hole 12 of the post 3 is engaged with a hooking pawl 20 of a hooking plate 15 at the end of the beam member 6 to connect the beam member 6 to the post 3, and a fall-off preventing plate 21 is provided, which is attachable/detachable relative to the hollow hooking hole 12 positioned above the hooking plate 15 and prevents upward movement of the hooking plate 15 by an outside protruding portion 22. In the structure, The fall-off preventing plate 21 is composed of a plate material having a thickness smaller than that of the hooking plate 15, and at least one of both upper and lower sides of the hooking hole 12 is provided with a notched recess 13a vertically recessed and having a width smaller than the thickness of the hooking plate 15 and larger than the thickness of the fall-off preventing plate 21. The fall-off preventing plate 21 is held in a vertical attitude, being fitted into the notched recess 13a at least on one of both the upper and lower sides of a part penetrating the hooking hole 12.
