摘要 <p>A structured release liner (60) for adhesive products (AP), has a surface with one random pattern (10) of irregular raised structures (11, 12) which forms a complementary pattern of closed channels when pressed into the adhesive layer (80) on the AP, and a superimposed random or irregular pattern (20) of regular or irregular raised structures (21, 22) which forms a pattern (40) of closed channels connecting the first channels (from 10) together to form an open, connected channel system (41, 42) in the adhesive. A strippable cover (60) for adhesive coatings (80) on adherent products (AP), with surface(s) (2) which can be applied to an adhesive layer (80) and with a 3-dimensional pattern of numerous raised structure(s) which can be pressed into the adhesive layer (80) to form a corresponding imprinted pattern, in which (2) has one random pattern (10) of irregularly-shaped raised structures (11, 12) which forms a complementary pattern of many closed channels in the adhesive (80) and another random or regular 3-D pattern (20) of raised structures (21, 22; regular or irregular in shape) which forms a pattern (40) of closed channels which connect the channels from (10) together so as to form an open, connected channel system (41, 42) in the adhesive surface. Independent claims are included for (1) AP with an adhesive layer (80) which is or was covered with a strippable cover (60) and has a surface imprinted with a complementary pattern (2) a method (M1) for making a liner (60) by providing a sheet of material with a raised pattern (10) on the surface (2), preferably an orange skin structure, and then forming another 3D pattern (20) over the first pattern so that its raised structures (21, 22) connect with those (11, 12) on the first (3) a method (M2) for reducing the risk of gaseous or liquid inclusions (especially air bubbles) when sticking AP onto a substrate, by (a) making a cover (60) as above, (b) placing the cover on an adhesive surface of the AP so that its raised structure is pressed into the adhesive, (c) stripping off the cover leaving a complementary channel structure in the adhesive and (d) sticking the embossed product onto a substrate (4) a method (M3) for reducing inclusions as above, by (a) making a cover (60), (b) making an AP with a surface structure complementary to that in (60), (c) placing the AP on the cover so that its raised structures fit into the complementary structures, (d) stripping off the cover and (e) sticking the AP onto a substrate (5) a method (M4) for making an AP by making a cover (60) and placing it on the adhesive surface of the AP so that its raised structures are pressed into the adhesive (6) a method (M5) for making an AP by (a) making a cover (60), (b) applying a liquid adhesive to the structured surface and (c) solidifying the adhesive to form an imprinted open channel system (7) a method (M4) for the production of an AP by (a) making a cover (60) and (b) placing the cover on an adhesive surface of an AP so that the raised structures on (60) are pressed into the surface (8) a method (M5) for the production of an AP by (a) making (60), (b) applying liquid adhesive and (c) solidifying the adhesive to form an open channel system (9) a method (M6) for the production of an AP by (a) making an adhesive layer with a cover (60) on it which has a first raised pattern as above and (b) forming another 3-D pattern by imprinting it into the cover from the side opposite the adhesive so that the adhesive is also imprinted .</p>
