Perfume composition comprises 1-25 parts by weight of 3-(4-methyl-cyclo-hex-3-enyl)-butyraldehyde (limonenol) (I) and 99-75 parts by weight of 1,8-p-menthadiene (limonene) (II), where the sum of the parts by weight of the two compounds is 100. Independent claims are included for: (1) a product comprising the perfume composition; (2) a method for strengthening the citric top note and the naturalness of the smell of (II) comprising providing (I) and (II), and mixing 1-25 (preferably 3-15) parts by weight of (I) and 99-75 (preferably 97-85) parts by weight of (II); and (3) a method for providing the hair or textile fiber with the complex smelling sensation of the natural ethereal citrus oils, comprising providing (I) and (II) in the aforementioned parts by weights; and applying the mixture on the hair or the textiles fiber.
