The invention relates to fittings for metal tubes used, in particular for producing furniture. The inventive tube corner joint comprises two tubes and means which is used for jointing said tubes and is provided with a corner element connected to two spacer sleeves by means of two rod-type threaded elements. Said corner element is embodied in the form of two cylinders which are jointed at an angle and whose free end faces are perpendicular to the axes of cylinders and are shaped in the form of a circle whose diameter is equal to the tube external diameter and which is provided with two through channels having a variable cross-section, wherein the axis of each channel coincides with the axis of one of cylinders. The diameter of each sleeve is equal to or less than the tube internal diameter and is embodied in the form of a collet chuck whose slotted end in introduced into the tube. The sleeve is provided with an axial channel whose one section tapers in the direction of the slotted end thereof. Each threaded element passes through the corner element channel and is introduced into the sleeve axial channel in such a way that the external surface thereof and the tube internal surface are sealingly fitted to each other. The aim of said invention is to design tube joints whose elements are not projected outside of the tube dimensions.
