PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an album quickly in which images suitable for arranging in the album are automatically laid out even if a user does not sort out images to be arranged in the album.

SOLUTION: The system for preparing an album in this invention comprises: a low quality image receiving part for receiving low quality images; a layout information generating part for generating layout information on a low quality image album in which low quality images are laid out; a layout information storage part for storing the layout information by bringing into correspondence with order identification information; an order identification information transmitting part for transmitting the order identification information to an album purchaser terminal; an order identification information obtaining part for obtaining high quality images corresponding to the low quality images from the album purchaser together with the order identification information; a layout information obtaining part for obtaining the layout information; and an album preparing part for preparing a high quality image album by laying out high quality images according to the layout information.
