<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment method for a sample, for injecting efficiently and precisely the sample when analyzing an amino acid by a mass spectrometer. <P>SOLUTION: In this method of analyzing the sample containing (an) analyte(s) comprising the amino acid, an amine and/or a peptide, by the mass spectrometer, the analyte is modified into a derivative by a modifying agent, the derivative is subjected to microchip electrophoresis, and an eluate from the microchip electrophoresis is introduced into the mass spectrometer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
