<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a film capable of simply and quickly evaluating the faded color of a film under an arbitrary lighting environment. <P>SOLUTION: The method for evaluating the film includes steps where the light from a light source is incident on the film with a prescribed incident light angle and reflection light angle corresponding to the incident light angle are measured by an automatic variable angle photometer, and the reflected light distribution is calculated. A condition file is set, based on the blackness and whiteness of walls of a room for using the film and lighting angle of position of the film and the position in the room, and the reflected light distribution is integrated and is weighted with the condition file, the luminance is quantized, thereby the luminance in the room of the film is evaluated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
