<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video transmission system capable of preventing the occurrence of a transmission error by surely transmitting a synchronizing signal. <P>SOLUTION: The video transmission system employs a modulation system with a faster symbol rate or a modulation system with a greater multivalued degree for a video signal and employs a modulation system with a higher attenuation immunity (a modulation system with a lower symbol rate or a smaller multivalued degree) for the synchronizing signal SY than that of the modulation system for the video signal. Thus, modulation-demodulation sections 14, 22 of a master apparatus 1 and a terminal 2 select different modulation systems between the synchronizing signal SY and the video signal. That is, since the master apparatus 1 employs the modulation system with a higher attenuation immunity in comparison with the modulation system for the video signal to modulate the synchronizing signal SY, the system can surely transmit the synchronizing signal SY to prevent occurrence of the transmission error more in comparison with the modulation of the synchronizing signal SY using the same modulation system as that for the video signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
