<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for detecting dosage settings of injection devices, which enables dose settings to be detected easily and accurately. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of setting and detecting a dose in the injection device so as to set the dose of a dispensable product, a dose switching device 10 is turned to establish a connection between the dose switching device 10 and contacts 12a and 12b of a contacting device, first signals are outputted from the contacts 12a and 12b when the connection is established between a first conductive region 11 of the dose switching device 10 and the contacts 12a and 12b of the contacting device, second signals are outputted when the connection is established between a second non-conductive region of the dose switching device 10 and the contacts 12a and 12b of the contacting device, and by evaluating the signals outputted by the contacts 12a and 12b during the process of setting the dose, the dose setting is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
