PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a security level while preventing a processing efficiency from lowering. SOLUTION: This image processing apparatus 1 includes: an image input section 1 for reading an image of an original and inputting image data; a job management section 17 for extracting data transfer destination information from the image data of the original when the image input section 1 reads an image of the original to which the data transfer destination information is embedded; a communication section 16 for transferring the image data to a terminal 2 on a network 3 designated by the data transfer destination information and acquiring image data from the terminal 2; and an image output section 13 for providing a printout to the acquired image data to a recording medium.
