PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which suppresses the generation of a crosslinking gel at the time of fusion-extrusion-molding, is excellent in optical characteristics, has less blemishes in the appearance, and can develop an excellent displaying quality when being incorporated in a liquid crystal displaying device or the like. SOLUTION: This optical film is made by fusion-extruding a copolymer of a norbornene-based monomer and an olefine based monomer. Then, the optical film has the degree of gloss of 140% or higher.
