PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring camera apparatus which is advantageous for improving the beauty of appearance while the configuration is cost effectively simplified. SOLUTION: A synthetic resin made cover 38 closes a gap between a ceiling 14 and a lower end of a case 20 in a state in which a monitoring camera 12 is installed on the ceiling 14 via a camera side fitting metallic fixture and a ceiling side fitting metallic fixture 16. The cover 38 is made of a synthetic resin, exhibits a belt-like form and is extended in a circular-arc shape with a uniform width. The cover 38 includes a circular-arc part 3802 and straight line parts 3804 respectively extended from both ends of the circular-arc part 3802 in a straight-line form, and a lock wall 3810 engageable with / disengageable from a lock piece 1622 of the ceiling side fitting metallic fixture 16 is formed at a tip of each straight line part 3804. For each straight line part 3804, a lock claw 3814 engageable with / disengageable from a lock notch 1624 of a base part 1602 of the ceiling side fitting metallic fixture 16 is formed.
