PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary differential screw type rotation-linear motion converting mechanism wherein the shafting inclination of planetary shafts perpendicular to the planetary rotation peripheral face is suppressed. SOLUTION: In the planetary differential screw type rotation-linear motion converting mechanism 66, a first engaging part (screw portions 56a, 70a, 68a) and a second engaging part (screw portions 58a, 70b, 68b) are formed in a mirror surface relationship so that a first sun shaft 56 and a second sun shaft 58 are axially moved in differential directions with the rotation of a nut 68. Along with the loads of the sun shafts 56, 58, two shafting torques perpendicular to the planetary rotation peripheral face are given to the planetary shafts 70 in the opposite directions by the first engaging part and the second engaging part. The torques given to the planetary shafts 70 are counterbalanced to suppress the inclination of the planetary shafts 70. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
