PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butterfly valve for simplifying site construction without the need for socket welding work at a site, solving problems on pipe corrosion resulting from welding heat, and allowing accurate measurement of fluid pressure on the primary side during closing the butterfly valve by forming a fluid passage out of which the fluid pressure on the primary side can be taken, in the butterfly valve itself which is inserted in a fluid duct connected between a primary side pipe and a secondary side pipe, and to provide a pressure measuring device therewith for fire extinguishing equipment. SOLUTION: The butterfly valve 1 has an operation part 8 at one axial end of a valve stem 3. The fluid passage 9 out of which pressure on the primary side can be taken is formed through the center of the valve stem 3 in a range from part of the outer periphery near the axial center of the valve stem 3 along the axial direction to the other axial end. A flow-in port 9a open near the axial center of the fluid passage 9 is put into an open state to face the primary side in the fluid duct during closing the butterfly valve. At the other axial end of the valve stem 3, a primary side pressure gauge 11 is mounted which is communicated with a flow-out port 9b open to the other axial end of the fluid passage 9, via a connection pipe 10.
