PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain excellent accelerator operating feeling by eliminating the occurrence of the bottom of torque during the acceleration in a low-speed area in an exhaust device for a vehicle and a motorcycle having the exhaust device. SOLUTION: In this exhaust device for the vehicle composing an exhaust passage from exhaust pipes 20-1, 20-2, 20-3, 20-4 connected to multi-cylinder engine 10 to an exhaust muffler 21, an expansion chamber 45 in which the overall or a part of the inner peripheral surface of an exhaust passage is expanded outward in a generally arcuate or chevron shape when viewed from the direction generally crossing perpendicular to the exhaust flow direction is connected to the exhaust downstream side of an exhaust collecting part 24a to which the exhaust pipes are collected. Desirably, the expansion chamber 45 is formed in a generally spherical shape. A plurality of branched exhaust pipes 26 are formed on the exhaust downstream side of the expansion chamber 45.
