摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of reducing the response delay of an intake air amount during the recovery from a fuel cut irrespective of a battery voltage in the internal combustion engine in which the fuel cut is performed during the deceleration. SOLUTION: When a request for controllably suppressing catalyst exhaust odor is given to suppress the exhaust odor emitted from a catalyst (step 100), the battery voltage is taken in (step 102), and the air flow amount allowed to flow to the catalyst is determined during the deceleration F/C according to the battery voltage (step 104). When the present battery voltage > determination valueαis established, the catalyst exhaust odor is controllably suppressed during the deceleration F/C to control a throttle opening TA larger than an idle opening (step 112). When the present battery voltage > determination valueαis not established, the controllable suppression of catalyst exhaust odor by the control of the opening of a throttle valve is prohibited even when the requirements of the deceleration F/C are established (step 116).
