PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine with turbocharger, in which it is easy to laterally arrange the internal combustion engine and arrange the turbocharger at a front position of the vehicle, in a multicylinder internal combustion engine having a plurality of banks and a supercharger. SOLUTION: The multicylinder internal combustion engine having the plurality of banks and the turbocharger 11 is arranged laterally in an engine compartment. Exhaust passages 3a, 3b for each bank are connected with exhaust manifolds 2a, 2b of each bank, a turbine 11a of the turbocharger is installed to the exhaust passage 3a of the bank 1a in the front of the vehicle, so as to arrange the turbocharger in the engine compartment at the front position of the vehicle.
