PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive sound absorbing board easy in manufacture by simplifying a structure without reducing sound absorbing performance. SOLUTION: This sound absorbing board 10 is constituted by sticking a porous metallic plate 11 and a sound absorbing body 13 having a large number of sound absorbing holes 12 by interposing a spacer member 14. The sound absorbing body 13 includes a polyolefinic synthetic resin, paper powder and a hydrophilic high polymer, and is formed as a high temperature melt by mixing and heating the polyolefinic synthetic resin, the paper powder and the hydrophilic high polymer, and is formed of a foaming member 15 provided by mixing water in the high temperature melt.
