PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container whose part for concealing a cutting blade from outside is not bothersome in cutting a packaging medium using the cutting blade. SOLUTION: This packaging container (1) is provided with a container body (11) storing a rolled up packaging medium (13) and a container cover (12) covering and closing an opening of the body (11). The cover (12) is jointly provided on one top edge (35) of the body (11) and is rotatable relative to the main body (11) with the top edge (35) as an axis. An opening piece (2) is jointly connected to the concealing piece (15) of the cover (12), and the back face side of the piece (15) is provided with a cutting blade (22) for cutting the packaging medium (13). The piece (15) is so shaped that a gap (30) is formed between the piece (15) and the cutting blade (22) when the cutting blade (22) is covered by the piece (15). COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
