According to the communication system of the present invention, in OFDMA system (100) comprising a base station (10), which uses a plurality of channels to perform wireless communication, and a plurality of mobile stations (20), each mobile station (20) includes a reception quality determining part (19) that determines a reception quality and a reception quality information deciding part (12) that generates, based on the information of a two-step grouping scheme, in which a plurality of channels are grouped into subgroups, then these subgroups are grouped into some groups and then the mobile stations (20) are assigned to these some groups, and also based on the reception quality determined by the reception quality determining part (19), a reception quality information for each of only the subgroups belonging to the some groups to which the mobile stations (20) are assigned, and that notifies the generated reception quality information. The base station (10) performs a scheduling of wireless communication using, based on the notified reception quality information, channels. In this way, the information amount of the reception quality information notified from the terminals to the base station can be reduced, thereby improving the throughput. |
