An apparatus for forming a paper container is provided to simultaneously draw the paper container and form a curling part on a circumference portion of the paper container, thereby reducing the cost of the apparatus and improving the productivity. A first die(12) is installed at a first die holder, wherein the first die has a convex portion(14) corresponding to a shape of a container. A first blank holder(16) is installed at the first die holder and disposed in a circumference portion of the first die. A second die holder(21) is disposed oppositely to the first die, wherein the second die holder moves forward and backward relatively to the first die holder. A second die(22) is installed at the second die holder, wherein the second die has a concave portion(24) corresponding to the convex portion of the first die. A second blank holder(26) is disposed in a circumference portion of the second die, and contacted with the first black holder. Curved curling forming grooves(19,29) are formed inside a front end of the first blank holder or the second blank holder. |
