An upper plate assembly structure of a drum type washing machine is provided to add a protrusion on a T-shaped frame combined with a cabinet and insert the protrusion into an upper plate. An upper plate assembly of a drum type washing machine includes a T-shaped frame(20) and an upper plate section(30). The T-shaped frame is installed at the upper end of a cabinet. At least one bent portion protrudes upwardly in correspondence to the upper surface of the T-shaped frame, and one end of the bent portion is bent outwardly. The upper plate section covers the upper surface of the cabinet on the upper surface of the T-shaped frame. The upper plate has a bent portion(32) combined with the bent portion(22) of the T-shaped frame. |
