An organic electroluminescence display is provided to improve the opening rate of pixels through a power supply line for neighboring pixels as a common electrode, thereby considerably reducing the number of external elements used to drive the display. A gate insulating film(24) and a conductive film are sequentially formed on the entire surface of a substrate(21). The conductive film is patterned to form a gate electrode(25). Impurity ions are implanted into a semiconductor layer(22) by using the gate electrode as a mask. Electrode lines(27) are formed on exposed source and drain regions(23) so that the electrode lines are electrically connected to the source and drain regions, respectively. A flattening insulating film(28) is formed on the entire surface of the substrate. An anode(29) is formed on exposed electrode line so that the anode is electrically connected to the electrode line. A black matrix layer is formed between a color filter layer and other neighboring color filter layers.
