摘要 A method for predicting and identifying genetic structure and coding region is provided to identify polarity between two complimentary oligonucleotides, which is a new configurative element of a genome stand, thereby dividing the predicted oriC(origin of replication) and terC(terminus of replication) regions, also identifying the position of the oriC, which cannot identify the position of a dnaA gene, and capable of interpreting a sequence constituting the genome. To analyze genome, the oligonucleotide polarity and asymmetricity in a genome strand is used. The oligonucleotide polarity is the characteristic of an individual oligonucleotide, in which the polarity represents the ratio of an oligonucleotide to a complimentary oligonucleotide thereof and is expressed as OPI(oligonucleic compositional polarity index). The asymmetricity is expressed by GOA(genome oligonucleic asymmetricity) in the genome strand using the OPI. To predict and determine an origin of replication(oriC) region and a terminus of replication(terC) region, a polarity index accumulated value by the OPI(GOP), a polarity index accumulated value on the genome of an open reading frame(ORF) with more than 1kb(COP), and the GOA are used.
