<p>The clutch has an amplification unit (70) for amplifying clamping force applied on a pressure plate (30). The amplification unit has an inclined rail connected to the plate that is adapted to cooperate with a complementary inclined rail attached to a clutch cover (10). The force acts between the plate and the cover, and is adapted to provoke a relative separation of the plate and the cover when torque is transmitted by pressure plates (20, 30) that are clamped by a helical spring (41) on friction elements (52, 53) when in clutched position.</p> |
