Cold-stabilized additive (A) for fuel oils with 0.05 wt.% of sulfur content comprises fatty acid mixture of 6-50C saturated mono- or dicarboxylic acid (1-99 wt.%), 6-50C unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic acid (1-99 wt.%) and at least a polar nitrogen-containing compound (0.01-90 wt.%) as a paraffin dispersant in an average distillate. Cold-stabilized additive (A) for fuel oils with 0.05 wt.% of sulfur content comprises fatty acid mixture of 6-50C saturated mono- or dicarboxylic acid (1-99 wt.%), 6-50C unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic acid (1-99 wt.%) and at least a polar nitrogen-containing compound (0.01-90 wt.%) such as amide and/or ammonium salts of aminoalkylene polycarboxylic acid with secondary amines (I) and (II) of formulae ((R 6>)(R 7>)N-CO-CH 2)) 2N-R 10>-N(CH 2-CO-N(R 6>)(R 7>)) 2 and N((CH 2-CO-N(R 6>)(R 7>)) 3 respectively, as paraffin dispersant in an average distillate. R 10>2-6C alkylene or organic remainder of formula -(CH 2) 2-N(CH 2-COON-(R 6>)(R 7>))-(CH 2) 2-; R 6>,R 7>8-36C-alkyl, 6-36C-cycloalkyl or 8-36C-alkenyl and the remaining groups are H, 1-36C-alkyl, 2-36C-alkenyl, 6-36C cycloalkyl, cyclohexyl or a group of formula -(A-O) x-E or -(CH 2) n-NY 1>Z; A : ethylene or propylene; E : H, 1-30C-alkyl, 5-12C-cycloalkyl or 6-30C-aryl; Y 1>, Z : H, 1-30C-alkyl or -(A-O) x; x : 1-50; and n : 2-4. Where the amide exhibits partially or completely in the form of ammonium salt of formula ((R 6>)(R 7>)NH 2 +> COO ->). Independent claims are included for: (1) a cold-stabilized solution of (A) in organic solvents, where the solution contains 1-80 wt.% of the solvent; (2) a cold-stabilized fatty acid mixture containing (A); and (3) a fuel oil comprising an average distillate with 0.05 wt.% of sulfur content and (A).
