A bonding apparatus of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to form the size of a rubber mounted to the upper and lower presses smaller than that of an LCD panel. Upper and lower presses(120,100) pressurize the LCD panel. Upper and lower elastic members(121,101) are attached at the upper and lower presses. The size of the elastic members is lower than that of the LCD panel. The elastic member is made of any one among rubber, silicon or synthetic resin in order to prevent the scratch of the LCD from generating. The upper and lower presses have a heating line for supplying heat to the LCD panel. The size of the upper and lower presses is the same as the elastic members. A seal line formed between the first and second mother substrates is cured by the heat line. The first and second mother substrates are seated on the lower elastic member. |
