A toothpaste comprising microcapsules having functional ingredients is provided to allow an antibiotic ingredient of natural olive oil or oleuropein to directly contact with oral cavity, thereby inhibiting viral bacterial, mold, and fungi, treating various dermatitis and ulcers and improving skin. The toothpaste comprising an abrasive, a foaming agent, a wetting agent, a binder, a sweetener, a flavor and a preservative includes microcapsules encapsulating olive oil or oleuropein and is characterized in that the microcapsules are dissolved during toothbrushing so as to release the olive oil or oleuropein, thereby allowing the olive oil or oleuropein to be contact with oral cavity. The microcapsule is prepared from gelatin and has the particle size of 1-5 micrometers.
