An air bag module of a passenger seat is provided to enhance safety by breaking the foam of an instrument panel only in a direction inclined to a tear line at a predetermined angle from an air bag door. An air bag module of a passenger seat includes an air bag housing(60), a cushion(61), an inflator(62), an air bag door(63), and a tear line(70). The air back housing is mounted at an instrument panel. The cushion is received in the air bag housing. The inflator is installed at the air back housing, and supplies gas to the cushion. The air bag door is coupled at the instrument panel, and is opened by an expansive force of the cushion. The tear line is formed at the instrument panel, and is broken when the air bag door is opened. The tear line is formed at a position inclined by a predetermined angle from an end of the air bag door.
