A pump cap of a washing machine is provided to increase an area for a knob by selectively disposing a knob extension unit at a front side of the knob. A pump cap of a washing machine includes a plug section(120), a knob section(122), and a knob extension unit(124). The plug section is detachably mounted to an opening part of a pump housing. The knob section protrudes from the front surface of the plug section. The knob extension section is rotatably installed in the knob section and is disposed on the front side of the knob section so as to extend the length of the knob section when the plug section is attached and detached. The knob extension unit includes an extension section(126) and a connection section(128). The extension section is disposed on the front side of the knob section to perform a function of a knob when the plug is attached and detached. The connection section is rotatably connected to the knob section. |
