The sealed cartridge (1) contains a measured amount of a substance which is either dissolved or extracted by a liquid to prepare a beverage. It is placed in a tapared cup (9), and the assembly, is then placed in the receptacle (21) of a coffee machine. The top of the cartridge is then punctured by an element (17) which also injects a pressurised liquid. The membrane forming the bottom of the cartridge is deformed by this pressure and pushed against pucturing spikes (13) located in the bottom of the cup. The liquid flows through the receptacle and is collected for consumption. |
