A drying method of a drum type washing machine is provided to perform a drying process after performing a dehydration process according to a load sensing value of laundry. A drying method of a drum type washing machine includes the steps of: measuring the current load sensing value of laundry in a drum and comparing it with the initial sensed load value if a drying process starts(S120,S130); determining whether the current load sensing value is with a range of the initial sensed load value or not(S140); performing a dehydration process if the current sensing load value is not within the range of the initial sensed load value(S145); and performing the drying process for a drying time according to the initial sensed load value(S170). |
