A method for performing Bluetooth communication in a mobile terminal is provided to maximize Bluetooth performance by analyzing unique characteristics of a mobile terminal and allowing its user to optimize functions of the mobile terminal. A direction in which a mobile terminal will be located based on a Bluetooth device that will perform communication with the mobile terminal is indicated in a Bluetooth performance search mode of the mobile terminal(301-303). An RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indication) of the mobile terminal located in the indicated direction is measured and stored by a user, and RSSIs of the mobile terminal corresponding to each direction in which the mobile terminal is located are stored(304-307). The RSSIs corresponding to each direction in which the mobile terminal is located are displayed(309). |
