An antimicrobial composition is provided to have excellent antibacterial activity, wide antibacterial spectrum and antioxidative capability with safety to human body, thereby being applied to various fields such as cosmetics, medicines, pesticide, and living articles. The antimicrobial composition comprises at least one extract of plant selected from the group consisting of Spiraea prunifolia var. simpliciflora such as Spiraea thunbergii, Albizzia julibrissin and Morus. In the composition, the content of each of the plant extract based on the total weight of the composition is 1-30 wt.%. |
