PAPR REDUCTION APPARATUS AND METHOD WITH COMPENSATION OF CODE DOMAIN ERROR

A PAPR(Peak to Average Power Ratio) reducing apparatus and method for compensating a code domain error are provided to prevent degradation of signal quality of a particular spreading code while freely controlling a PAPR. A code domain error estimating unit(220) calculates a code domain error value by reducing a PAPR of an input signal and a compensation gain value of the code domain error value. A code domain error correcting unit(250) corrects the code domain error by applying the calculated code domain error value and the compensation gain value to the input signal. The first PAPR reducing unit performs a PAPR algorithm for reducing the PAPR of the compensated input signal.
