A switching device is provided to reduce manufacturing cost by preventing a movable contact member from being rapidly rotated on an inner bottom of a housing member. A switching device includes a box type housing(2), a central stationary contact member(3), an outer stationary contact member(4), a movable contact member(7), and a stem(9b). The central stationary contact member and the outer stationary contact member are arranged on an inner bottom of the housing. The movable contact member is made of a disk type inversion spring, which is arranged on the inner bottom of the housing. The periphery of the movable contact member is contacted with the outer stationary contact member, such that a center portion is aligned with the central stationary contact member. The stem is made of an elastic material, which is placed on the center portion of the movable contact member. A plating layer is formed on the movable contact member. A stopper unit restricts the rotation of the movable contact member.
