<p>The method involves detecting discontinuity of a structure of a spacer by measuring the response of a sleeper (1) with pulse excitation, where the spacer connects concrete struts. The pulse excitation is generated on a part of an assembly constituted by the sleeper and rails (5a, 5b) fixed to the sleeper using a pulse excitation generator embarked on a platform (9) of a push car trolley (7). An independent claim is also included for a device for detecting a damaged sleeper.</p> |
