A door module assembly is provided to prevent the separation of a carrier plate by using a locating pin having a slot. A door module assembly(10) includes a carrier plate(12), a position determining pin(30), an opening unit(46), and a pin body. A door module element(16) is mounted on the carrier plate. The carrier plate includes an external surface(18) and an internal surface(20) separated from an inner door panel(14). The inner surface of the carrier plate is positioned toward a passenger compartment. The inner door panel includes an external surface(22) separated from the carrier plate and an inner surface(24) toward the external surface of the carrier plate. At least one locating pin and the opening unit are formed on the carrier plate. The locating pin has a pin body provided with a base end and a distal end. A slot separates a first flexible rib portion from a second flexible rib portion.
